We are not a building, we are a family, a community who want to glorify God by enjoying him forever. On Sundays we gather together at Baugh at 11:00am, but life in Jesus is more than simply a Sunday Gathering, it is a 24/7 adventure.

The sun has risen as we meet at Baugh at 7:00am
Easter 2025 for Tiree Baptist Church began with a Sonrise Service on the beach behind our premises at Baugh. We deliberately name it 'Sonrise' because we are celebrating the fact that Jesus rose from the dead never to die again. We are not celebrating the sun rising, even although sunrise on Tiree is often something very special. We met at 7:00am and the service on the beach was followed by a hearty breakfast in our church building. Later in the morning we met at 11:00am for our Easter Celebration. Ruth Kelso our new pastor led the service and Alan Millar brought the Easter Message. If you go to our YouTube Page you will be able to listen to an excerpt.
Saturday the 26th of April was a very special occasion for the church family as Ruth Kelso was ordained and inducted as pastor. The service was at 3:00pm in Baugh and it was a joy to welcome Ruth's family, guests from Knightswood in Glasgow, and others from the island. The service was led by John Bottomley with Martin Hodson from the Baptist Union of Scotland and the preacher was Gus Macauley from Knightswood Baptist Church. The recording of this very special occasion is available on the link opposite.
On the Sunday (27th April) Martin Hodson of the Baptist Union of Scotland will bring God's message to the Sunday Gathering at 11:00am.
